Fisher Architecture was hired to provide full services of a high profile, state-of-the-art Class ‘A’ medical and triage facility in Easton, MD. Formerly a local printing facility that closed in 2009, the Cadmus Lane building was redeveloped to accommodate many of the mid-shore medical practices from the area into one central location. The site design allowed for the demolition of 50,000 square feet of existing building area to create additional parking and covered customer/patient entrances for what is now ‘Building A’ and ‘Building B’. Fisher’s team designed over 86,500 square feet of medical office space spanning from specialty suites dealing with Cardiology and Neuro Sciences, to your local primary physician’s office. Throughout the design process, Fisher’s team worked with the individual Doctors and Board of Directors to organize the required programmatic and facility needs in a way that maximized space for patient flow; while most importantly optimizing flow of staff members while making patient rounds.
