The staff areas needed reorganization to assist with day to day flow which included relocating management offices, adding an employee break room and private circulation for employees to enter and exit the building. The existing façade included wall to wall windows which gave visitors an expansive view of the city. Recent upgrades kept this appealing feature in mind but also implemented energy efficient upgrades to the facades including bands of EIFS and siding. These material enhancements along with an additional tower on the south end and metal awnings were intended to attract new customers to the fresh, airy feel of the hotel. The team came up with a contemporary, coastal scheme for the hotel with bold blues and fun and playful pops of pattern and color to accent specific areas.
