SALISBURY, MD – April 24, 2017 – Fisher Architecture LLC, a locally owned, experienced architectural firm providing functional design and construction solutions to clients, announced the groundbreaking for the newest Farmers Bank of Willards branch in Millsboro, Delaware.
The 3,000 square foot bank will mimic the 18th-century Europe, neoclassical design principals of Monticello; the primary plantation of and designed by Thomas Jefferson. Fisher Architecture designed the interior and exterior of the bank with columns and trim details that follow the Monticello example.
“The owners are very aware of the rapid advancement of technology in the banking world,” said Keith Fisher, Fisher Architecture. “Our team worked closely with them to design a building that would continue to be functional years from now but also maintain the personal face-to-face friendly service they have always provided to their customers.”
“We have been both honored and excited to work with the Fisher architecture team,” said Chris Davis, president, Farmers Bank of Willards. “Their professional quick responses to all architectural changes and issues have been greatly appreciated by both our Board of Directors and senior management team. Both Keith and Heather have continually made themselves available as questions arise and, have taken our basic concepts and turned them into practical realities.”
