Fisher Architecture Breaks Ground with Owners and Developers of Hyatt Place Oceanfront in Ocean City

SALISBURY, MD – March 31, 2017 – Fisher Architecture LLC, a locally owned, experienced architectural firm providing functional design and construction solutions to clients, announced the groundbreaking ceremony of the Hyatt Place Oceanfront, located on 16th Street in Ocean City, Maryland.  The new 170 room hotel is replacing the Seascape Motel, one of the very first motels built in the resort town.  

Hosted by PRBR Hospitality Group and TKo Hospitality Management, family members were joined by city officials, Hyatt representatives, the development team and investors to celebrate the new venture. 

The 105-guestroom Hyatt Place Hotel will include four employee housing units, two bridal prep rooms, associated retail area, conference area and a restaurant on the east side of Baltimore Ave. and the ocean. Across Baltimore Ave., the west building will consist of 65 hotel guestrooms with a restaurant.  The project will provide a total of 113 parking spaces with 61 spaces under the east building and 52 spaces under the west building.  The hotel is scheduled to open in early Spring 2018. 

The development team for the new Hyatt Place consists of Mark Hall, REALTOR, RE/MAX Advantage Realty, Keith Fisher, Fisher Architecture, David Harkins of Harkins Contracting, Art Lodge of Applied Bank and John Black of Mackenzie Capital.
