Fishing for Frank

Posted on - September 1, 2020

A Fisher Architecture team is hooked for the upcoming 2nd Annual Tangier Classic Fishing Tournament.  The event takes place September 25th through the 27th and kicks off from the American Legion Post 16 in Crisfield, Maryland.

A sponsor for the event, Fisher Architecture is excited to support an event that will benefit 6-year old Franklin Kirwan from Hebron, Maryland.  Frank was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1).  NF1 causes tumors to grow throughout his body which means Frank will endure Chemotherapy once a week for the next year.

Frank had to stop going to school because of a weakened immune system and did not have the energy to make it through the day.  He enjoys fishing, hunting, and riding his jeep.  He loves police officers and firefighters and was recently “sworn in for the day” to several local law enforcement agencies.  When Frank grows up, he wants to serve the community as a police officer.

There is still time to support Frank by registering for the Tangier Classic or purchasing tournament merchandise at  50% of every registration, $16 from every shirt, $5 from every hat and $6 from every buff is donated to the family.  People can also donate through the donation page found at  All funds raised will help relieve some of the family’s financial burden and stress caused by weekly travel and medical expenses.
